Dave Scott
Dave Scott grew up in a Christian home where the Bible was not only taught but was applied to daily life – this was ‘normal’ and reinforced by many more role models that Dave has watched over the years. It takes a while to know how blessed you are!
Married for 36 years to Renee, proud dad of three grown men, and enjoying two wonderful grandsons! Renee and Dave live in Cecil County – both have for their entire lives. GBC is the only church Dave has really ever attended. At age 6, revival meetings and fear of being ‘left behind’ was the cause for initially running to Christ with the help of his mother – surrender/lordship came later.
Dave has served in various capacities at GBC, including leading a men’s adult class, serving as a deacon and as a member of the missions committee. He is self-employed in residential remodeling and loves the outdoors and hunting as his father did.
