ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL
FALL ABCs (During 1st Worship Service) - 9:15 Hour
Men’s Mentoring Group
Teacher: Doug Hokuf –
For this class, we’ll be discussing Disciplines of a Godly Man by Kent Hughes, a book that encourages men to pursue a life shaped by intentional spiritual habits and Christ-centered character. As we read together, our goal is to reflect on how Scripture calls each of us to grow in faithfulness, integrity, and service. This class will be a space for honest discussion, mutual encouragement, and practical application – an opportunity for us to challenge one another and strengthen our walk with God as we pursue godliness in everyday life. It is preferred that students read chapter 1 prior to the first class on September 13th. So, if you are interested in attending, please contact Doug Hokuf at 302-757-6125 or dhokuf@gracebiblechapel.org for more information.

Unit 1: God’s Word Is Our Foundation
In this first unit, we will take a 10-lesson journey of discovery into God’s Word. We will look at what the Bible is, where it came from, who wrote it, why we can trust it, and how God intends to use it in our lives. Our goals are for your questions to be answered, your faith to grow, and your view of God and His Word to be greatly expanded.

Ruth: A Story of love and Friendship
Teacher: Seth Sheriff –
In the time of the Old Testament Judges, when spiritual confusion, social anarchy, and sexual immorality were rampant in the fragmented tribes of Israel, God softly whispered a story of redemption for a Moabite woman named Ruth that finds its ultimate fulfillment in the redemptive work of our kinsmen redeemer, Jesus Christ. Ruth’s life is a gentle story about ordinary people doing ordinary things, whom God used to reveal the extraordinary. Come, have your heart warmed and thrilled as we explore the book of Ruth, a story of love and friendship.
Love & Respect Couples Class
Facilitator: Tom Brown –
The "Love and Respect" DVD series by Dr. Emerson has been one of the best received marriage seminars by its participants, and it will help us as well - as we gain a better perspective on our spouse's needs. Marriage can be difficult and takes intentional work, but through God’s beautiful design and Biblical counsel, it can also be treasured and precious. Our goal is to strengthen our marriages in Christ as we openly discuss what stands out to us each week and as we learn to love and respect each other in different ways. This class is open to all married and engaged couples.
Studying the Bible
Teacher: Pastor John Fields –
In this class we will take a hands-on approach learning how to enhance your personal study of the Bible by making solid observations, sound interpretations, and practical applications. Each week, we will focus on specific portions of God’s Word and highlight different study tools and techniques that help better equip us to read the Scriptures more thoroughly and recognize the truths that the Holy Spirit wants us to understand. Don’t just hear about the depth of God’s Word from others! Learn how to discover it for yourself! Join us as we grow deeper in knowledge and faith in our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ!
ABC 2nd Hour Fellowship Time!
Although we strongly encourage you to attend one of these amazing classes, we also know that sometimes a space to gather in fellowship is very important as well. Maybe this is the only time you can find to catch up and nurture a friendship; maybe you want to dig deeper into Pastor Andy’s sermon and discuss it with someone while it is still fresh on your mind; maybe you need time to mentor and pray with someone during a difficult season; or maybe you just need a moment to sit and regroup before you face another work week ahead… However the Lord leads, please feel free to grab a cup of coffee and use the fellowship space in the back during the second ABC hour.
