Before coming to Grace Bible Chapel in November of 1992 Pastor Schappert and his family spent 10 years in Ireland as Church Planters with the Greater Europe Mission. Those 10 years of evangelism and church planting were foundational to his present ministry. Pastor Schappert has always considered ministering the Word of God his primary calling. While in Ireland he was able to see a church started through the Home Bible Study Ministry. He spent many hours teaching the Scriptures to small groups and individuals, one on one. Consequently, the teaching ministry at GBC is one of our strong points.
