Giving to GBC

"So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver."

GIVING ON SUNDAY MORNING

At GBC we do not take a collection during the service.  We prefer to use Giving Boxes, stationed inside each entry to the sanctuary.  Each Giving Box has 4 slots marked Missions, Operations, Building, and Designated. You may give to any or all of the accounts. If you give to more than one account you may use an envelope with one check or cash inside. On the outside of the giving envelope you need to indicate how much is to be given to each account.

DIRECT DEPOSIT GIVING

Direct Deposit giving is available upon completing a simple application. This instructs your bank to withdraw money from your account and deposit it into the GBC account, according to your instructions. Your account can be with any bank, it need not be with our bank. The applications for Direct Deposit are available at the Information Desk or by contacting our Office Manager.

TAX DEDUCTIBLE RECEIPTS

To receive an end of year tax deductible receipt we ask you to either sign up for an envelope number and then use the giving envelopes, or use the Direct Deposit method of giving.  This enables us to keep track of your giving for tax purposes.  You can sign up for the giving envelopes at the Information Desk or see our Office Manager.

ANOTHER METHOD OF GIVING

Some now use on-line giving through which one's bank is instructed to mail a check to GBC from your own bank account.
